Thanks to all who has helped me thus far- Riu / palace/Oasis/ Crown Paradise for large group? |
Travel Info Last week of May 2008 I am going with a very big ( 50+ people)VERY FUN group to an all inclusive (a few kids under 12) (MOSTLY ADULTS -18/20's, 30's, 40's, 50's, 60's,& 70 year olds) We want a resort close to all/ with-in close walking distance to beach, pool, shopping, water sports, nightclubs, etc. @ the resort we want a very fun pool, large/long with swim up bars/ jacuzzi's, fun atmosphere for kids and adults. Activities/games going on (we have partiers and a few non) Places to hide for quiet.Tropical w/ palm trees, sun/shade, not just stark beach, Nice beach, prefer motorized and non motorized right at the resort. Food / *good food* many good restaurants at the resort. casual and dressy. Shows, bars, nightclubs, nice amount of variety with all at the resort. Must be on the beach / all water view would be great. We are deciding upon resorts- Riu /Palace/Oasis/Crown Paradise/Dream? RIU- have motorized water sports included? PALACE- what are the tours that are included? Travel Tips we have a family of 2 adults, 2 kids, and a teenager...we went to crown paradise club and it was very fun! they have something for everyone! kids activities,a kids and teens paradise,a pool for adults only (they have 5 pools and a couple of Jacuzzis), a pool for activities (water volleyball, water soccer, water work-out, etc.) they have a restaurant for adults only too (the rest you can come w/kids) there are shows and bars that you can go to at night, and it is so beautiful there...so many palm trees! my family loved it! well i hope this helped...have fun in cancun!!! Others You should call your travel agent, I can cut and paste but It's all on the internet anyway, go to RIU.com or palaceresorts.com or whatever hotel you want to know about or join tripadvisor.com all your choices are great hotels so I wouldn't worry. With most hotels motorized sports is extra. http://www.tripadvisor.com =) I have to agree with flightpillow, you really need to call a travel agent. You have chosen the right resorts to accommodate most of what you would like. It's up to you now to do the research and choose one that is closest to what the majority wants. Good Luck) Riu Cancun is a fun place. I would stay away from Palace resorts as they are a bit laid back. They are gorgeous though! Although, when I went to Cancun, I stayed at the Riu Palace Las Americas. Amazing!! Plus you have full access to the Riu Cancun right next door. Both resorts are within walking distance to a nice sized mall and nightclubs like Coco Bongos is not far at all. There is a great website which has review on tons of resorts. It is tripadvisor.com I am a travel agent |
