I need some help booking a trip to Cancun for next year, it is for my parents.Looking for some advice.? |
Travel Info What month would be the best to go? And where is the best resort? They would like an all-inclusive and an adults only resort. Thanks for your help!!! =) Travel Tips I wouldn't say there really is a best time to go, some travel when it's not hurricane season, there is alot of nice hotels there whether they want to go to Cancun , or Playa del Carmen I would suggest any of the RIU resorts, Golden Parnassus or the Great Parnassus, any of the palace resorts or Dreams or Secrets, all are enjoyed by my family! And remember no college student nor will there be any kids. The best month and value for their money book after spring break and Easter (March 23, 2008) I like the month of May to travel to Cancun.)Spring break March and April All adult resorts: Sun Palace LeBlanc Golden Parnassum Adventura Spa Palace Secret Excellent Check reviews and photos on this site http://www.tripadvisor.com Ditto to stella39 The Palace resorts are great I loved the Adventura Palace but beach lovers beware it has a bigger pool than beach, the Sun Palace's beach is not much better. Another poster suggested the Oasis Playa, it has a good beach but is no where near as nice a resort as the Palace resorts (it is nice though). Also it is more in the main hotel strip near a lot of hotels with the younger crowd. The Adventura Palace is on the route to Playa del Carmen I suggest Riviera Maya area over Cancun (Cancun is so full of clubs and partying now that it's really nauseating... Riv. Maya is more tropical.. it's great). I suggest an Iberostar Resort. Depending on how much you want to spend Iberostar is currently finishing an adults only resort "Iberostar Grand".... they would also have free run of any of the other Iberostar properties (directly next door). I LOVE the Iberostar Maya. It's not adults only but I've never even noticed the kids... the grounds are very large. I suggest you check them both out because I think you'd all become Iberostar Addicts if you tried them. (I am). good luck! |
