Dealers will walk up to you and try to sell only thing is dude most likely they are setting you up...no kidding. This is the way it works...the guy sells it to you...the police arrest you and confiscate the drugs...they give the drugs back to the dealer just so they can bust some other poor bastard.

Mexican prison is not exactly the way you want to spend months or years out of your life. It isn't America...one phone call...you don't get no stinking phone call.

Don't try to buy cocaine abroad, it'll only land you in serious ****. Seriously, if you don't know anyone over there, you'd be real dumb to go looking for class-As in a foreign country. You'll be lucky if they only take your money mate.

If they offer it to you without you asking for it, it's dodgy. The street dealers do that in Holland. If you're foreign, they'll likely suggest you follow them... you don't want to follow them trust me, but if you've expressed an interest it'll be real hard to shake them. Just don't do it. Bear in mind aswell that the police over there aren't likely to be that forgiving for cocaine possesion; just over a couple of boarders, there's people dying to produce the stuff.

\/ It's not really all that dangerous physically, but will do some serious damage to your nervous system and cardio-vasular system in the long-run. Now crack, on the other hand, that's dangerous. Tequilla, get's you drunk and vunerable in a foreign country, plus it's more dangerous than coke. There are far more deaths attributed to alcohol abuse anually for it to simply be due to popularity, wheras deaths from cocaine are quite rare. Anti-drug infomertials are deliberately misleading and suggest that class-As are more dangerous than they are, the real danger is to your social-life and the prospect of a criminal charge. I'll acknowlage coke's bad for you, but it's no worse than alcohol. \/
I agree that it's probably really dangerous to try to buy it down there. I can tell you though that they offered some to me at Coral Negro (the open-air market) and also Mercado 28, which is another open-air market in the actual city of Cancun. I assume it was because I have tattoos, but who knows.
