Where's a nice place to stay in Playa Del Carmen / Cancun ? |
Travel Info Taking a trip with the wife in August, and we've narrowed it down to the Cancun, Playa Del Carmen area and we're looking for a nice place to stay. The nicer places seem to be upward of $500 a night, but we'd like to keep it under that. Prefer not an all inclusive or a big box hotel. Something on the beach and with character. Any ideas? Travel Tips Cancun is way more expensive than Playa Del Carmen and they both have beautiful beaches. You can stay in Playa del Carmen and still visit Cancun, they are not too far from each other and the bus transportation is good. There is a small minimalist hotel named "Deseo" just in the middle of the action (5th avenue) mexican I just got back from the best resort. Occidental grand resorts (xcaret) riviera maya. I recommend anyone to this resort. I had the best time. The pictures on the web do it no justice. We were totally amazed, and I can't wait to return. Stay at Mom's Hotel on 30th street in Playa. The owner, Ricco, is a buddy of mine & treats his guests right. He offers a small pool, bar & is within walking distance of the beach. momshotel.com |
