Does anyone know what the weather is like in Cancun, Mexico end August, beginning of September? |
Travel Info Im off on holiday to Cancun 27th August for 2 weeks and have read on the internet about the rainy season/hurricane season. I am a little nervy about hurricanes etc and wondering if anyone has been around the same time and can tell me what the weather should be like! I assumed it would be sunny and hot. (hope so, need to top up the Scottish tan) :@) Travel Tips It is hot and humid however 99% of the time there is a gentle breeze off the ocean. Great time to hang out at the beach or the hotel pool. Hurricane season is during the time you are there however that doesn't mean that there will be one! In the last six years or so there have been 2 (if my memory serves me) one rather bad one (Wilma) and one not so bad (Isadore). I do live in Cancun full time and remember no matter where you go Mother Nature gets her way ;) Others well it's sunny and hot in Cancun all year round...but it's going to be hurricane season when you go (hurrican season is late July-November)...hope this helped! have fun on your vacation! been to cancun |
