What is the worst time to visit Cancun, Mexico based on weather? |
Travel Info Just got bumped off my labor day exit plans and wondering when is a bad time? Hurricanes, cold weather, etc. Travel Tips it's warm and sunny in Cancun all year round but hurricane season is late July-November...so that would be the worst time to go...hope this helped! Source(s): been to cancun Other Travel Tips During hurricane season would be the worst time of year to go to Cancun. This would be between June -November. I've read that the best time of year to go is December/January. I'd say the worst month for hurricanes would be October, followed by September. I went twice at the end of September and narrowly missed a hurricane one of those times. January, although it's warm compared to most of the U.S. in January, can be pretty chilly at times, sometimes in the 60's or low 70's. I love going in May and June, but humidity makes it really hot. |
