Cancun, here I come...but what should I do? |
Travel Info I have never been to Cancun, any suggestions to make my stay (7 days) a great one. Anyplace I should avoid? Travel Tips Don't miss Chichen Itza, the Mayan ruins, or Tulum or Xel Ha. http://www.funjet.com/destinations/activ... Also, there are dozens of great activities if you're into diving or snorkeling or boating. Source(s): http://www.funjet.com/ Other Travel Tips Avoid the obvious (back alleys and hole in the wall bars/clubs) And try to have a hotel room right by the beach Stay away from the market downtown. The stuff is cheap but the place is pretty rough. Stay on the strip (The part shaped like a 7). Stay away from the Moon Palace (lousy beach, far away from strip, and....lousy food). The other palace resorts have nice beaches, are on the strip, and have lousy food. Unfortunately, most of the all inclusive resorts have lousy food. I won't go back for that reason alone. I'm looking at Aruba, Cayman, or Turks and Caicos if you're into the club scene, check out Coco Bongo...it's soo much fun! Daddy-O's is another good club. shopping can be done at either the Plaza La Isla mall (outdoor) or the Kukulcan mall (indoor). do see the mayan ruins....i recommend Chichen Itza. have fun!!! |
