Are things cheaper in cancun then the U.S? |
Travel Info im going there for the summer and i wanted to know how much are men jewelry and Hip-Hop Music CD's? Travel Tips Nothing in Cancun is cheap. I am sure you can find some decently cheap jewelry but if you are going to buy music CD's just get them at Wal-Mart before you fly down. I am talking originals here right. Cancun is not known for selling fakes to the extend of Tepito in Mexico City. Others You can find some cheap jewelry if you head into some of the market-y areas of cancun. It may not be high quality, but you don't state exactly what you're looking for. Not sure about hip-hop CDs. Good luck! anything that is produced locally will be cheaper (silver, tequila, some textiles...). If it has to be imported into the country, then you will most likely pay more (cd's). That's pretty much the rule of thumb for anywhere you travel. real CD are WAY more expensive. you can buy bootlegged copies...but that's morally wrong. men's jewerly is also more expensive. in general, most thing are imported, making them MORE expensive. if you want something cheaper, you need to stick to mexican made products...that's where you can really save. for examples, oreo cookies are like 5 dollars in mexico. but a mexican brand of the same cookies is...maybe 1 dollar. i dont know i would think that it would be But i am not sure Yea but they are all fake. except jewelery. Jewelery about $2 in Taxco, Mexico, CD's $1.50 U.S dollars CD's arent that cheap there but it also depends on what kind of jewelry you want..Gold is the cheapest in Merida about 2 hours from Cancun....Just shop around Cancun before you decide to buy something..Also you can always bargain with the market people for some jewelry. Take plenty of Sunscreen with you as well and comfortable clothing as to it will be very hot... |
