How long is the non-stop flight from L.A. to Cancun? |
Travel Info How long is the non-stop flight from L.A. to Cancun? Travel Tips A non-stop flight from LAX to Cancun should take somewhere around four and a half to five hours, assuming everything goes to plan, the weather doesn't interfere, and there are no delays. American Airlines, United, Mexicana de Aviacion, and (surprisingly!) Alaska Airlines, among others, all fly directly from Los Angeles to Cancun. AA and Mexicana list their flights as taking 4 hours and 25 minutes, United says theirs takes 4 hours and 45 minutes, and Alaska Airlines says 4 hours and 51 minutes. Obviously, there's a small range there and it depends what flight you take, but with perfect conditions, you're looking at around four and a half hours from LA to Cancun, possibly a little bit over. (The flight on the way back, incidentally, is a little longer, clocking in around 5 hours and 20 minutes.) Have a great trip and a safe flight, however long it ends up taking! Other Travel Tips About 5.5 hours 4 or so hours debic about 5 hours Its a 4 hour 47min (give or take) flight from LAX directly to Cancun but if you are willing to stop (say in Denver), Frontier Airlines could be your cheaper alternative. |
