ive been several times its humid take pepto and headace meds sun and constant partying ,least cloths the better swim wear almost every where bikini flipflops and cover ups will get u in every wheredont worry about exchanging alot of money the takes us dollars every where dont rent a car/scooter driving is crazy here leave it to the pros learn money exchange. a little spanish will help but lots of english speakers there if you go to the beach lots of suntan lotion you will tan from bottom up sand reflects after i comeback i have a savage tan. if youcan find a tour to xcarat go its awsome very different.if you dont like to haggle and get harassed stay away from open air markets.go to the malls if you like hi pressure salesmen an wanna save some moneyopen air markets u must be ready too haggle.i loved the water park there not somany lil kids more fun if your 16 to 25 anddrink you will have the time of your life use the buses there cheap safe andat night there a rolling party at times.long answer have fun Source(s): 10 trips total to cancun 55 days in all

Be careful. I'm scared to go to Cancun. Don't go by yourself. It's turned into a Top 10 Stops for Women to Avoid according to the travel channel. It's basically frat boys buying drugs that they can't get in the us, and drugging girls drinks.

I have been to Cancun twice alot of fun very american ! They have Pizza Hut! Just bring Clothes you would wear here in summer. Very casual. Make sure you go to Senor Frogs and Hard Rock Cafe really a good time...Have fun and stay in the area...also do some shopping!!!!
