Anyone been here?.....Cancun?

I'm going to The Moon Palace in Cancun, Mexico this summer, and I want to know what it's like. Any suggestions, or cool things to do there would be nice.

the best thing to do in cancun is go to the beach but they also have a great nightlife if you like clubs and stuff like that. The only suggestion i have is not to drink the water i heard it makes you really sick.
Ive been their its a tourest trap! it was fun going snorkling (if u like that) also it's fun getting your hair braied and looking at all the flea markrts! Hope u have FuN on your trip!
Moon Palace is huge! In fact some older folks are driven to their rooms in a golf cart. It is a resort that has jungle on 3-sides and the Caribbean on the other.

It is not in the Hotel Zone nor the city of Cancun. To actually get the the nightlife (other than that offered by the Moon) you must travel to the Hotel Zone or to the "city." The Palace resorts offer free transportation to their other properties and while there you may enjoy their food and services.

If you want to stay out and party in the Hotel Zone after the final bus returns to the Moon Palace it will cost you about $35.00 us in cab fare.

With all of this said...it is very beautiful at the Moon Palace!

Stayed there last September (2006).
I've been there every year for the past 6 yrs. Its nice and the Sunrise Palace is right next door also. If you are staying a week you get a free massage and manicure and pedicure and 2 tours or excursions that are included. We have been to most of them and have had fun on all of em. We always go on the "Booze Cruise" to Isla Mujeres its fun and when we are there we rent golf carts and see the island on our own. Chichen Itza is awesome but hot and humid, if you go take bug spray. The Sunrise Palace has a awesome Chinese restaurant but you do have to dress nice. There is also a disco there if you want to dance. The service is like no place in the states it is great. The rooms have mini bars, a mini fridge with beer soda and water in it. It also has a Jacuzzi in it.The ocean isn't as pretty there as downtown, but we stayed in the pool all the time close to the swim up bar. Hope you have a great time and hope this helped you out.
