What's difference b/t the super saver room & standard rooms at the Oasis' in Cancun? |
Travel Info I will be staying at the Oasis in Cancun in Aug. I am ready to book my room, but I don't know that's the difference b/t the super saver and standard room at the Oasis Cancun or Grand. The price is about $100 difference, but I'm wondering is the rooms different. Travel Tips Wow TT. You got great answers. I am a certified Cancun Specialist. The super saver is a package room that is designed to save you money. Typically you will end up with a standard room. However, the room is not assigned until you check-in. So if all standards are full, you will get upgraded to the next level. You are subject to the availability offered and typically any requests are not honored as they are cutting the price. Other Travel Tips Did you call a travel agent to book this? They are there with your best interests at heart and know the answers to things like this. I beg you to call them. They might even be able to save you some money with a package. Often super saver is not a room type but a package special. It could be the standard room sold under a package. I am a travel agent.It depends on the hotel. Sometimes a supersaver room is the standard room however they have a specific amount of these rooms that they sell at a lower rate. Once they are gone, the rate goes up to the standard rate. Also, sometimes supersaver rooms are located furthest away from the beach. Again, that all depends on the resort. Just remember to put requests on your room such as king bed, oceanview, higher floor. They are only requests and are not guaranteed. If you booked with a travel agent, have them put the requests in for you. If you have done it yourself, contact the hotel via e-mail or phone and have them put it on for you.
