Travel Info When is the best time of year to go to cancun.? Travel Tips I went in February and March to avoid hurricane season. There's nice weather and it's not too hot there. Wear your summer clothes. The city is fun even when it does rain though. I was out shopping with some friends and it started to downpour rain. I had the BRILLIANT idea of sitting at the open air bar and drinking margaritas. The rain didn't bother us one bit. LOL Others spring time spring break....PARTIES WOOHHOOOO lol Anytime between December 1st and May 31st (June thru November is hurricane season). when the weather in New York is 30 below zero and the wind is so bitey that it hurts your nose and the snow is 20 inches deep and you have just shoveled out your driveway for the 3rd time and the snowplow makes one more pass and dumps another 2 ft at the end of your driveway... THAT's the best time to chuck it all and go to Cancun!!!! Fall , or spring time.. Its less crowded them summer! Have fun.. Bcn_mimosa |
