First Time for Cancun? |
Travel Info Im going to cancun in septemeber and wondering for my first time for sea food what should i have thats not too out of my comfort zone and where i should go to eat this. Im usually a pasta person. i have an open mind for deserts espacially deserts from the middle east but things like calimari and squid and anything slimmy are completly out of the picture. Also wondering what things should we try to plan and do on our trips ahead of time, i am only going for a week with friends and what to do as much as i can there, our spending budget is $1000 Travel Tips Hi, For Seafood, I think you'll like the local Grouper. It's a very tasty fish. There are some others but by far this is my Fav, Take a tour to the Mayan Ruin's Coba and Tulum are close to Cancun the main ruins are a couple hours away, however if you have access to a car your best tour is the main ruins at Chitsen Itza. Take a Ferry trip to Cozumel from Cancun or Palya del Carmen and snorkel some of the reefs around the town of San Miguel. Spend some time in town walking around it's fun. You will enjoy all the people and it's a real step up from downtown Cancun. The main Cancun hotel row is a drag, unless you have a car. You are a captured audience, prices are high and you have no place to go unles you travel by taxi. Not sure about the bus service. That's not to say you can't see a lot of attractions by tour. If you are planning your trip try and stay in Playa Del Carman just south of Cancun and you can ride the bus into town. The Ferry departs and returns from this port to Cozumel about every half hour. There is another island kind of South East of Cancun Isla Myharis, great out of the way place. My bet is you'll love Cozumel. Others With $1000 dollars you can do a lot of things in mexico. |
