Do cell phones work in Cancun? |

If you are cruising the Carnival cruise line has installed cell towers on the ships and my cell did work on the ship. I needed to go out on the balcony/deck but it worked. Your phone may work in mexico but its best to check with your provider first. i work for bell in canada and our monthly customers can roam no problem, with our prepaid or pay-as-you-go customers they need to have a credit card on file to roam. so check with your provider and your plan first, they dont mind taking quick calls like that and its better safe then sorry. Myself, a customer service rep for a cell phon company mine did not , I have t-mobile get a calling card, the airport normal sell them at the gate, I know in dallas they do, if it's a funjest vacation |
