I have had the priviledge of staying at Moon Palace two times. Absolutely breathtaking. If you don't care to be in the Hotel Zone, then it's perfecto. It is self contained, and you should want for nothing there. The pool is spectacular. The food is great. Wonderful.
Others

It's a great place. I went there for a wedding. We had great service and the people are nice. But brings socks because the floors in the rooms are not lined with carpet (they have tiles).
My own experiences
I'm a travel consultant and often book my clients at the Moon Palace or oneof the Palace resorts. You can't go wrong with any of them. The Moon Palace is fabulous.
