Travel Tips There are mosquito's but bring repellent, they weather is going to be really HOT so bring the sunscreen too!! You check stats at http://www.wunderground.com Have fun!! =) Others pretty much - you are well into hurricane season by that point so you should expect some rain each day - I would imagine that it wouldnt be such a long rainy session, maybe heavy but shortlived but be aware that there are possibilitiesd of hurricanes. it will be humid so there will be mosquitos around too. Usually rains a little every day, like for half an hour. Unless there is a hurricane (not probable, though) you should expect a warm day and a shower. There are bugs and mosquitos, yes, Cancun is a tropical region close to the jungle. Get some biodegradable (please, make sure of this) insect repellent or wear a long cotton shirt and pants. You will have fun! we have a condo there.......its usually really hot, some mosquitos(near the beach part), and maybe rain every day for bout 30 min!!---have FUN I hope you have great weather because I'm visiting Cancun the week after you! Here is to sunshine and bugspray. I lived in Cancun for 4 years. There are hardly any mosquitoes. The mosquitoes there are really small. There are not alot of bugs in the hotel zone. But when you start exploring further from the hotel zone you will find cochroaches and other bugs. From my experience there in July it was really hot. You might get the quick shower which lasted maybe 20-30 min, but thats it. Hope this helps. i lived in Cancun for 4 years |
