Travel Info I'm thinking about booking a trip to Playa del carmen. I have a good rate on the "Real Playa Del Carmen". What do you know about this hotel? Any personal experiences? Or try http://www.cancun.com Have fun =) Others I've never stayed at that resort, but I have stayed at the Iberostar & the RIU. I recommend this area to clients all the time. It's about an hour south of the Cancun area. You can also catch the ferry over to Cozumel from downtown Playacar. Have a great trip! Tour planner It is a nice hotel, right in the center of the town. you can walk to the beach, to fifth avenue, to the dock for Cozumel. It is very nice, you will love it. Some hotels are along the freeway (like the iberostar or palladium) and you need taxis to get into town. You will have lots of fun, playa is beautiful!!! Hello, I have not personally been to this resort but we own right near their at the Moon Palace - an amazing inclusive resort. A friend of ours really enjoyed Playa Del Carmen - an exclusive resort. When booking; please take the time to compare prices - approx 95% of the time have been able to find prices comparable or better.
