Has anyone been to Dreams in Cancun? |
Travel Info Is it extremely large? I am worried as Ihave a "new" knee any still have a bit of trouble walking long distances. is their water filtered? How is the food? Travel Tips Dreams is amazing, it is a big resort, Cancun has a water purification system so you don't have to worry about the water, but most hotels have bottled anyway and they offer it to you. The food is great!! We have been to many all inclusive resorts. In terms of food, this was the best! We had breakfast and lunch in The World Cafe--the buffet. Breakfast was incredible. They served the regular for lunch (hamburger, fries, pizza, hot dogs, salads, fruit) but also had a wide array of alternatives. It was not unusual to find the chef grilling fresh shrimp or serving lamb. We always went to one of the other resturaunts for dinner. Great fish at Oceana. Most loved the grouper. The Mahi-Mahi was a little tough according to my brother. The Seaside Grill, on the other side of the resort, is a little hard to find but worth the walk. The filets were really good which, in our experience, is unusual for Mexico. We did go to Poloma Bonita, the Mexican place, outside of the grounds where Dreams guests received 20% off. I would say to save your money. It was cute but very loud! The food was marginal and the drinks not nearly as good as those you have already paid for at Dreams. =) |
