Dolphins in Cancun, Mexico? |
Travel Info I am going to Cancun next Monday and I wanted to take my kids to see the Dolphins, but my daughter is so tiny, she isn't tall enough to enter! (Wet'n wild won't let her in). I found another place... but they do not answer my mails. Do you happen to know whether she would be let in? It is called Programa Educativo con Delfines. They say if she is accompanied by an adult... but all the websites say the same and wet'n wild said no. Travel Tips If you are staying in Cancun itself you may want to try the new dolphin service in Dreams Hotel. It's more of a natural habitat that any of the others in Cancun. I'm not sure on age or height restrictions but you could call the hotel and I'm sure they can put you through. Here's the website http://www.delphinusworld.com/locations/... Others I know of two places you can swim with dolphins (not sure about the age and height). One is Xcaret and the other Xel-Ha. Both are ecological parks and there is a huge part of it devoted to dolphins. Even if your daughter cannot enter the water, she can get near enough to see and touch them. Both parks are about an hour from Cancun, they are in Riviera Maya but all major hotels will have tour companies which will take you there. Welcome to Cancun Mexico , Im offfer you a excelent dolphin program for your kids, with best price, don麓d find more, contact me: veronica@mayanbeel.com We swam with the dolphins at Dolphin Discovery. It's on Isla Mujeres - about an hour ferry ride from Cancun. I can't remember the minimum age, but there were several young kids there. Check out their website: www.dolphindiscovery.com |
