Did you go this year, and what was the most exciting experience you came across?

I have been twice, in two consecutive years, and am thinking of going back there again in 2008.....

What do you think?

Ive been there four time the past two years...love that place...
weather is good, white sandy beaches.....there is a whole lot more i havent seen yet...
planning on going again in August to travel to the Ruins and Jungle this time...pretty waterfalls etc.... Source(s): going in August

Just come back from the Riveria Maya, not directly Cancun but took a couple of trips in. Cancun is a little too much clubby and built up for my liking, however all the hotels I saw looked lovely as did the beaches.

I stayed right next door to Xcaret Park and absolutely loved it. We swam with dolphins but the best thing we did was called the Sea Trek, where you put these huge diving helmets on that pump air in and you walk along the sea bed! That was brilliant. We also did a trip to Coba rather than Chichen Itza and climbed to the top of the pyramid. Only 127 steps they said - what they didn't say was that they were all different sizes and it was like rock climbing! I got to the top and then wondered how I was going to get down! I had to shuffle down on my bottom!!! I was the last person down and the tour guide asked me if I was ok - I looked like a beetroot....

Loved Mexico and my little sister is talking about getting married out there next year.
I just got back from a 2 month stay, I'm there monthly for work and love it. I'm starting to like the Mayan better then Cancun because I'm not 20 anymore so I enjoy a more relaxing holiday.

I've never been there.. I live near Cancun... but I just know it is a beautiful place :D thanks for enjoing mexico!!!

I was just there May 5th- 12 and WE LOVED IT. Eat at Puerto Madero and have the cheesecake and take the BOB tour!
