What do you need to get to get a passport ??? Im trying to go to cancun with my family and we dont know what we need or what to do HELP!!!!!

Hey, you need to get to the passport agency closest to you (thats the post office) and take your birth certificate and about $150 for each person. A normal passport is about $100 if you already have pictures. Some places will take your picture for you, but most will not and even the ones that do charge a lot. Go to Walmart or Walgreens to save some bucks or go to the USPS to save some time. Tell them you need to expedite service. This will get you the fastest (but most expensive) servce. To go to Cancun you need to have another birth certficate (they are going to take the one you bring to the passport agency) and you need a drivers license (state ID) and you need the print out that the US state department will show online at us.state.gov/passports. Other Travel Tips

First off, go to the passport office nearest you. Then they will hopefully issue you a passport. Although when is you trip? because the passport issuing [sp?] can take up to about 3 weeks. After that, you will probably want to visit a Walgreens, Longs, Rite Aid, etc. and get your picture taken for it. Then the passport is valid and hopefully with luck you can visit cancun and have a great time!
