Travel Info Where is the best place to park for the millenium stadium cardiff? Travel Tips Don't park catch the train. It is cheap even from as far as Bristol if you book in advance. If you are coming from UK you save the Severn bridge toll as the train goes by tunnel under the river. It is safe. The station is so close to the stadium you can walk. Cardiff is a great small capital city. If you arrive early you get a drink or something on the way to the stadium. If you are staying overnight you can go to a show or theatre or just have a good meal and go to the pub again. Enjoy !! Others What I always did was drive from Caversham (in Reading, Berkshire) about 30 miles outside of London - I would drive to Bristol and then take the train into Cardiff. That was always the easiest for me. If you are lucky you will be able to find cheap parking in Bristol - I was able to but it was near Black Boy hill. I also think it will depend on what types of events are going on in the city when you are planning to go to Cardiff. Beautiful place. at the stadium There's hardly any parking near the stadium. I usually use the car park at Sophia Gardens - it's about a ten minute walk to the stadium from there. |
