Which area of Cardiff? I presume town centre?

I live in Whitchurch and my dad happens to be a Lincenser for the resteraunts and pub's selling alcohol in the town centre. I'll edit my answer or send you a email once he's home, having asked if he's licensed any good "candle light dinner" venues.

If you're looking for places in Whitchurch, Rhwbina, Heath, Birchgrove i may be able to help. I wont be able to help on ely, or llanedin/st. mellons though sorry.

If you want to catch me on MSN it Big_biff_boy_2003@hotmail.com (its a bit old and cheesy :P)
Depending on what kind of supper you were after....

Theres a little italian on st.marys street (don't know the name but its castle end of the road) the food there is stunning and you can get a lil dressy.

The juburaj, theres 4 altogethor, maybe 5 and I think all but 1 are in cardiff. Best indian i've ever been to, the one in rhiwbina and the one in roath are both brilliant. Delicious food and a great service, they don't rush you like alot of indian restuarants seem to, they care more about the customer and less about the speed they can turn over more profits in my opinion. You may think, indian restaurant = meat but not necasarily, they have quite a few veggie dishes. Brilliant place to eat, and again you can get dressy :P

Best italian in cardiff (my opinion) is Gio's. Its an italian on the hayes, its small in a nice way, its cosey. I think it's a family business. Quite a few celebrities have been there, GREAT food and service. My mum is a vegetarian, I've been there many times with her and she loves it. A great place for a special meal.

Happy eating wherever you end up!
