Cardiff - i live in Bristol and its pants lately.
I haven't been out in Bristol so i cant say what its like , but i live near Cardiff and whenever i go out there i always have a wicked time , so that's a Cardiff from me ...

I would have to say Cardiff, there's a wider choice of places to go in a smaller area.

Bristol can get rough in the evenings and that can make it not a very nice place to be in - I've never really encountered the same amount of problems in Cardiff than in Bristol.

Another thing to think about it that Cardiff now has a smoking ban - which could be good or bad for you!
