Travel Info how do you think I should spend my free time in Cardiff? sorry for my bad english... kisses nicole Travel Tips There's a food festival in the middle of July in Cardiff Bay, UK rocks is right Bath is beautiful, but Cardiff certainly has its fair share of attractions, a tour around the castle, good night life, England play NZ at cricket at Sophia Gardens in the summer to not sure if its July. Take alook at the Millenium stadium webiste for updates of concerts, they have a couple of big acts every summer Others There was no bad English Nicole. I hope you have a happy time when you visit. by catching the train to bath and bristol much better cities - seriously you have to visit bath, its beautiful cardiff is a disgrace for a capital city the bus station says it all - depressing Cardiff isn't that big but it's lively and there's plenty to do. Take a look at this site;- http://www.visitcardiff.com/ get a bus or rail ticket ..........anywhere going east and including a trip over a very large bridge You could visit Cardiff Castle. Take the bus to Castell Coch (also a castle). Visit St. Fagan's, the Museum of Welsh Life. Go shopping. Have a look at Cardiff Bay. If you're into that kind of stuff, go to the Millenium Centre and enjoy the opera. There are many night clubs and pubs there, too. But, be adventurous! Don't just stay in Cardiff. How about a trip to Swansea? Maybe travel to the west coast. Go down the mine shaft at the mining museum in Blaenavon. Have a look at Caerlon, the roman amphitheatre just outside of Newport. I'm sure you'll find loads to do there. It's a lovely city. Enjoy your stay! it depends how old you are. If you're under 18, there's...... the ice rink, evolution night club on a sunday night for under 18's. (cardiff bay). porthcawl's not far away. It's a seaside resort with a fun fair. cardiff castle has like music events and stuff now and again. Shopping c.i.a has music events. odeon cinema roath park for over 18's: evolution saturday night. (well any night club. we've got loads. It's a good night out in cardiff) in august there's the metro weekender which is a dance festival. shopping, shopping, shopping. Walkabout austrailian bar (you'll love it there if you love a good sing along) nightclub in porthcawl called appollo there's a few sites you could look up online. Type in things to do in cardiff. |
