Travel Info What's caerleon like and how bad is the traffic into newport during rush our? Travel Tips Rush hour traffic going into and out of Newport is pretty bad. I know because I've done it. Not only is is smack on top of the M4 but even the A roads going in get very busy. Caerleon is fairly interesting because there is a good Roman excavation there - once was fort and barracks there. Also it has a pretty good college, a few of my friends got their teaching degrees there and have progressed really well in their careers. Others caerleon is a lovely village with good access to motorway and some nice shops you a very central there. Getting to newport can be quite busy at rush hour but it's steady about 20 mins some mornings used to live there |
