Travel Info How bad is the morning rush hour traffic from Cardiff to Newport? Travel Tips Its horrendous, used to travel that way quite often. It takes 5mins by train but like an hour in the car! Others very bad stay at home Best try and change you work location!! You could try the old road around Old St Mellons, it is a nice drive and may take about 30 minutes but you will miss the queues and jams. There's a train between 8 and 10 expect 1 hour plus on weekdays. It can be rather horrendous at times & then at other times it isnt so bad. Check Real Radio on 106fm before leaving for your journey. They are very up to date with regular traffic updates & congestion on the roads. |
