What can I do in Barcelona in two (full) days ? Request your suggestions on what my itenirary should be like?

I am more interested in historical buildings / architechture / walking around / good sights and views - and not much in museums. I will be staying near Ramblas.

I have booked myself in HOTEL OASIS near Ramblas. Any feedback on the hotel is also welcome.

I will be with my wife and 18 months old son.
