Where is the best paella in barcelona??

I'm not sure whether I got the name correct.paella is some kind of seafood with rice, is it??Correct me if I'm wrong.Where is the best restaurant to go to for it in barcelona?My friend said somewhere near the beach/port is nice, is it true?

Probably the most famous restaurant in Barcelona is La Fonda on calle Escudellers and the prices aren't that bad. In the upper barri gotic, I recommend Els Quatre Gats. Picasso spent a lot of time there. It's on Calle Montsio. If you're wanting to try something other than paella, I'd go to El Tastavins on Calle Ramon y Cajal. It specializes in Catalan cuisine.

No matter where you go, don't forget to try the awesome tapas and also the cava, a Spanish wine similar to white sparkling champagne. Good luck!
