Barcelona and ibiza travel?

Travel Info
I plan to go to Barcelona and then to Ibiza.

I am there for the parties. Will it be too early if I actually get there early June (when the parties kick off)?

Also, I am aware of the ferry services between Barca and Ibiza. I got stuck checking at the schedule and pricing. Which one is the cheapest way to get to Ibiza island?
