Travel Tips
Don't worry he won't be the first person to be travelling with something broken. Phone up your insurance tell them the situation, see what they say. If they won't cover him you may be able to pay a bit more on your policy that will. Also do you have an E1-11 card, this entitles you to free treatment whilst travelling in the EU. I don't know if it will cover you in this situation but it is worth finding out. You can get covers for his arm so he can still go in the pool without risking getting it wet. As soon as you get there ask at the hotel you are staying where the nearest hospital is so if you do need to go you know where it is. I've seen people on hols with broken arms, legs all sorts. It's just a case of being prepared before you go. |
