Travel Info same as above Travel Tips Hi Anamika.......!!! Everyone has guided you correctly... There's no Deluxe bus service available for Dehradun side.... Trains go via Saharanpur, but you will have to board one from Ambala Canttonment Railway Station..... And never ever prefer a local ordinary bus.... Its not at all good to go via an ordinary bus, especially when you are girl.... The best way out is, take an A/C Taxi for Dehradun... It will Cost you something around 2000-3000 bucks, but thats the safest and the most comfortable mode to communicate between the two places.... I think you are new in this place hence can't even ask you to drive down, b'coz that is the second best alternative..... And there are no Taxes for anything as such... Anyways hope you Enjoy your stay both at Chandigarh and Dehradun.... Bye and Take Care......!!! Others Hai anamika. Is very close by. you can either cab it or take a train. All within indian currency 1500 - 2000 Rs..trans takes you via saharanpur. there are no taxes. By ordinary bus Rs.150 at the maximum and by delux Bus it will cost u anything less than 500. There is no direct train so dont prefer it Everyone is correct... 1. NO DIRECT train..and it takes lot of time if you try via SAHARAPUR. 2, Get a taxi from CHANDIGARH-you can go via PAONTA SAHIB. DO not miss RENUKA LAKES-these are small lakes in a mountain...i like this tiny place. 3. Bus ride is not preffered...it is HOT here in plains..and you will be getting a rough experience. GET A A/C CAR. |
