If you book II class sleeper in advance yhou can travel conveniently. It is by Bangalore Tanjore Express. Leaving Bangalore around 1900 hrs it will reach Kumbakonan next morning by 0630 hrs. the distance from Bangalore is 508 kms. Now-a-days I go by this train only. Very cheap and time saving. Thirdly you can go by car ut it will be costly.
