Travel Tips It depends what kind of journey you want to do between Mysore to chennai via Bangalore.If you want to journey by day then you have the Shatabdi express. It leaves Mysore at2pm reaches Bangalore By4.20 and arrives in Chennai by9pm.Its comfortable, clean and food is served on board as its part of the ticket price. If you feel like taking a night journey,then yiour options are many.There are trains that ply every hour between8pm to 10pm.Areservation in advance would help as its a sleeper coach.Very comfortable berths, and by chance if you sleep in first class or ac compartments,then the railways give you complimetarycrisp white sheets,a blanket and a pillow...which ofcourse you should leave behind and not take it with you. Another option and flexibility would be to take the passenger locals between Mysore to Bangalore which leave evry half an hour and then take the Bangalore Chennai trains,which leave at7am,8.30am,11am,1.20pm,2.30p... and 11.45pm. Hope i have been of some use to you. Whenever you do travel do have a safe and happy jpurney!! Others Its fine and Good But the Trains extraordinary late is the Bad problem for US. It is nice and good It will take approx 8-9 hrs if u take ordinary trains from Mysore to Chennai. If u take Shatabdi it takes only 7 hrs and u'll also get delicious food. All the train in this route are perfectly on time. |
