Direct Bus from Chennai Airport to Pondicherry? |
Travel Info Is there a bus from Chennai Airport to Pondicherry? I do not want to go into Chennai bus station but go direct from the airport. If so I would appreciate full details ie- bus number, where exactly to take it from and whether it runs all day and night, and how long it takes. Many thanks Joe Travel Tips No bus service or any place is originating from airport at Meenambakkam. you have to come to Koyambedu only. You can catch any 70 series bus from the Main road to Koyambedu and it will take about 45 minutes and for Pondicherry there are several buses leaving every 15-10 minutes. It will take about 5 to 6 hours to reach Pondy. You can take a late evening bus and reach next day early morning also. You Can not also board or get any bus en-route at Meenambakkam.
