Nearest hotel to Chennai Airport ?

My husband is going down to India heading to Thirupathi. Any advise on the low budgeted hotel, tour or bus ticket to Thirupathi.
He has not been to India before. Looking for any recommended hotel and tour organisers.

Best way to travel to Tirupati is by A.P.Tourism buses starting from T.T.Devasthanam office in Venkatnarayana road,T.Nagar.
Bus tkts including spl dharshan costs about Rs.800-1000.
He can stay at Hotel Sakithiyan,T.Nagar, closer to T.T.D office.
This budget hotel is approx 15km from airport. Gud luck.

near Chennai airport try Egmore area hotels, hotel Ashoka has decent rooms, nice restaurant and well priced.
