Travel Tips The most convenient way to go to Thirunallar (Sani Temple) is go by Mysore - Myladudurai Express - (Train No. 6232) it leaves Bangalore at 19.00 hrs and reach Myladudurai at 6.00 am next day. You can stay at Myladudurai only and go to Tirunallar (Karikal dist) by bust. it will take about an hour and half. you can finish your darshan etc. and come back to Myladudurai. there are lot of temples around that are and near Kumbakonam. Depending upon the time you can spare you can have a Programme to go to various important temples. - Source(s): - Other Travel Tips Tirunallar is the abode of famous Siva Temple "Darbaranyeswarar" where There is a shrine for Saneeswarar (Saturn) inside the Temple Complex. Tirunallar is in Karaikkal District of Pondichery State. From Bangalore you can take the Mysore-Mayiladuthurai Express Train and alight at Kumbakonam and take a bus to Tirunallar.
