Chennai International Airport & Prepaid Taxis? |
Travel Info I know I can take a prepaid taxi from Kamaraj Domestic Terminal.... But I can't remember ever seeing a pre-paid taxi counter at the Anna International Terminal. Has anyone taken one from the international terminal? if so where is the counter, after exiting the customs? Travel Tips Yes what Angie said is correct. If there is any of the relatives in Chennai, ask them to book a taxi for u and then u go by that taxi. Safety is more important. But not all the taxi drivers are like that, some of the good habitual persons are there. Better take the taxi from the travel agencies. In Airport itself more robbers are standing outside of the arrival place, but we can differenciate them...we have to be careful at all the times. Search for Qualis or Call Taxi's on the internet book online or either talk to them directly and then u go. Good Luck Others You'll see the counter there just ask. Whatever you do don't choose a taxi after you get outside. They are all scamsters and work in groups and can take you some place rob you and and leave you stranded. I think I remember, it was near the exit, it was clearly mentioned that you can get pre-paid taxi's there |
