From here the auto fare should be around Rs.60/= only. Beware Chennai Auto Drivers are Cheats you can pay another 10/- or 20/= more. Otherwise there are so many buses plying from Central to koyambedu or to Arumbakkam and you can reach in about 1 hours time conveniently. I do not remember the bus numbes.
