Please tell me the bus(with bus no) / train(train to board) routes from Airport to Nungambakam in Chennai? |
Travel Info i have to go to shakti nagar in choolaimedu. this is my first visit to chennai. please help..... Travel Tips First let us welcome you to CHENNAI. The best way to go to Shakti Nagar from Airport is take a Electrical Multiple unit train from TRISULAM (opposite to Airport as you come out) which is going towards Beach station. The fare will be Rs.6 only. After alighting at (next to Kodambakkam) Nungambakkam come out of the station take left side and take an auto for Rs.25/ to go to Shakti nagar. If you are capable of walking you can walk down too to choolaimedu and reach Shakti nagar by enquiring any shop wallah. They will definitely help you. It is not advisable for you to catch a bus as there is a over bridge is under construction near Airport. You may have to walk down for the nearest bus stand and catch bus Nos. 70 (white board and yellow board only). You have to take a ticket for Choolaimedu. Bus conductor will help you if you put a word to help you to get down at Choolaimedu. Again from there you have to walk down to Shakti nagar by enquiring any shop wallah. Wish you all the best. Others it is better to take an Electric train from Pazhavanthangal or Meenambakkam station till nungambakkam rly station.from there you can hire an auto,which costs max 20rs,to reach sakthi nagar. it's hardly 10mins from the station by auto |
