You may hire a car and see the city tour covering places.- Egmore museum-St.George Fort and with in that you can visit St Mary's church and fort museum-St Thames church at Mylapore and Kapaleeswarar temple (Siva ) and deer park and snake park. after that you can enjoy the Spencer plaza shopping and you can be there up to 9.00PM and then have dinner in good hotel and proceed to airport. You may fix the taxi rate for full day and need not pay any extra amount for your drop at airport suryanaryanan Source(s): tourist guide Other Travel Tips You can visit ANNASALI,TRIPLICANE, and then go to SPENCER PLAZA for some shopping,go to the Marina beach in the evening and surf the sands. That is all you can make in such a shot period. visit mahabalipuram First go to a good restaurant...like if u r a vegetarian go to Saravana Bavan, if u r a non-vegetarian go to Anjappar. First eat well and u will get some energy. Now you start...hire a taxi and go to ECR road...visit everything on ecr like Mayajal(not for movie; bowling spend 30 mins), Muttukadu Boat House (spend 30 mins), Kovalam Beach (spend 30 mins), Mahabalipuram (spend 1 hr) also enjoy the horse riding, on the way visit Crocodile Farm(spend 45 mins) finish all these before 5.00p.m. Go to hotel and refresh(spend 1 hr)...Then you start Anna Square - MGR Memorial, Anna Memorial Places are there (spend 30 mins), Marina Beach(spend 1 hr) relax urself and enjoy the breeze...Thats enough for that day...now have some dinner in ur favourite restaurant....take some rest...Pack-up all the things...Now get ready to airport..... Note: Traffic is more in Chennai, so u should start early to the airport and other sight seeing places. If u plan perfectly and alot the time perfectly...surely u will cover all these places. If u want to shop anything also visit Spencer's or TNagar. Don't waste ur time by visiting the museums in Chennai.
