Travel Info Is there any train route from Chennai to Arunachalam,Tamilnadu,India?If so Please say the timings of the train Travel Tips Tiruvannamalai is the city name for Arunachalam The nearest major railway stations are at Tindivanam(72 km)(Chennai-Madurai railway line) and Tiruppatur(82 km)(Chennai-Palakkad railway line). also there is railway line on which thies station falls itself. A railway line between Vellore and Villupuram passes through Tiruvannamalai,where passengers can board a passenger train to Vellore(up) or Villupuram(down). But I doubt if this is working as Gauge conversion was in progress there few months back when I checked. For more info on other transport to city check http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/tiruvannama... Others from chennai to tamil nadu---there is but I think its in construction right now. about 5 months ago it was. Sorry, I dont have more helful info. I took a traing from chennai to madurai and then drove to tamil nadu because of the construction. |
