Travel Tips Night Life in Chennai is currently sober thanks to strict orders from the city police commissioner to stop serving liquors in all pubs & hotels by 11.30 pm, Discotheques have also been told to shut down early. 'PASHA' at The Park is just another discotheque. Get ready to get your foot stomped, pushed around in yet another regular crowded, smoke filled place. Only thing special are the steep prices for alcoholic beverage, not really a place to chill out. Entry they say is restricted to members & their guests only. Sparks - The place is well laid out with trendy interiors. The dance floor is spacious and the sound system is really good. The place functions as a pub through the day and dancing starts only at midnight. There is a cover charge of Rs.300 per head. Dublin- An Irish pub and discotheque at the Park Sheraton Hotel. The club has split level dance floors. The bar is supposedly Irish . This club is frequented by celebrities & is the most popular in the city. Though the club is spacious it can be real packed on theme nights. Dublin is open 7 days a week. Pub Hours: 5pm to 10pm. Dancing Hours: 10 p.m onwards Flame Le Club disco at the Le Royal Meridien- The place is not very hip with 'in' crowd. The service leaves more to be desired. The entry fee of Rs.600 per couple is too steep for a place that lacks energy. EC 41- A popular beach side open air discotheque. The disco is more popular with the teens. Its on the east coast road ( ECR) next to VGP wonderland. Platinum Dance bar at Quality Inn Aruna ( formerly HFO), Nungambakkam. Others disco in chennai are you kidding too bad no good discos ,they have few but i dont rate as discos its too bad .come to hongkong we show what is discos and another thing the girls in chennai are narrow minded beware |
