I don't know what to choose; Kodaikkanal or Munnar? |
Travel Info I have a plan to go on vacation by the 4th week of May. I am given to choose between the two hill stations, viz., Kodaikkanal and Munnar. I've visited Kodai several times earlier and am still fascinated at it. Munnar I haven't been even once. My colleagues say that by 4th week of May it will be all raining in Munnar and that my trip will be ruined. My family is interested in Munnar. Though I'm eager to see Munnar for the first time, I am also concerned about the safety&comfort of my family. Munnar or Kodaikkanal...I'm confused. Pl. help me! Travel Tips koidaikanal is very crowded,littered with shops and shops and hoardings and hoardings and with so much of crowd-gets dirty and jammed often. all these factors are absent in munnar.what is more-it is much more beautiful,peaceful,unspoilt by pollution/crowd and tourism-eagles. it is cooler too... by the way,raining wont really be spoiling yr vacation,it enhances natural beauty ten-folds,and is more likely that rains will pose more botheration in kodai then in munnar..when i visted these places it was raining at both of them,but munnar is more beautiful then kodai. i think now u should be able to decide... Others i u can go to munnar,bbut the season of nilakkurinji is over may u have a good trip best wishes munnar is the best place visit http://www.indianholidays.biz/kerala.htm... from there you will get more information about munnar http://www.indianholidays.biz i think u can go to munnar. its a very nice place to be eventhough it will rain. i was there on one of the may months a few years back even though it was rainny it was really good! its a very pleasant tpurist spot hey u r saying that u have already visited kodai so i suggest you for a change ... hi do u know onething there is a ghat route from munnar to kodaikanaljust 25 kms u can see this at top view point in munnar . but unfortunately the route was closed.but eventhough the 2 hill stations are nearer.u can visit these 2.kodai to munnar is just 80 kms |
