How do i find out if someone is dead in india? |
Travel Info My freind moved to india and i think she has died recently, possibly by her own hand from despression. She was in contact with me but now nothing. She is an austrlaian citizen but i think had been using an indian name. how can i find out if she is indeed dead and be able to find out what happens with her body...etc and the legal side, will etc...I know the city she lived in but thats about it. Travel Tips you may need to lodge a complaint with local police station...they will try to find if someone like this details were found . i know its difficult time for u but finding her will may not be easy Others Get to the local police station & file a complaint. I think that will help. Sorry to hear that your friend is no more. Best thing is to contact the Australian embessey in India ( I think in New Delhi) and go through them. If she is White than it would have appeared in the News papers by this time. If she is of Indian origin than it could be dificult. Local police station is other place. I would start from the Australian embessey. this will give some weight to your investigation. The local registrar office might be able to tell you if any one registered her death. |
