How do I travel from Chennai to Velenkani? Not able to locate any train to Nagapatanam - nearest station.? |
Travel Info I have booked my Air tickets to Chennai Reaching there by 7.30 AM. I have heard there is a train to Nagapatnam in the evening but am not able book reserved tickets on it. Can someone help me with the train number and also if tickets can be booked over the internet for the same. Alternatively is there any good airconditioned bus service between Chennai & Velancani? Who do I contact & how do I book these tickets? I used to go to Goa by this bus. Go to www.indianrail.govt.in/ and search for trains between Chennai and Nagapatnam. Note down the train numbers and train name and make your reservation on line or at the nearest railway station. I dont think there are any direct trains to Nagapattinam from Chennai. The nearest station would be to Thiruvarur. There are volvo buses available to velankanni. Contact the local office of KPN travels or Parveen travels. Hey its very simple jus click the southern railways site and check for availabilty through map. More simple and clear... |
