Chennai suburban trains.? |
Travel Info iam little bit confused. how to find the platform where train towards tambaram will come & how to find platform for trains towrds beach . only two platforms will be there . which one for tambaram & which for beach. i know in train itself it will denote .but say how to find out? Travel Tips Simple, ask any one. There are two segments one is for suburban and others for outstation. The left most platform towards south is for outstation trains. The Right one is for suburban. In that, the left platform towards south is for Tambaram and the right is for Beach.* In Beach station and Tambaram, they will announce fromm which platform the next train will start. Others Even i was a confused guy once....But once you get used...u surely won't face any problem...Just listen to the announcements made at the stn.....and u can also have a look at the TIMINGS CHART attached at the bulletin board..But i suggest that if u travel regularly frm tambaram to beach ,you surely will get an idea. My experience when i used to go to tambaram for my AIEEE coaching classes Hi, Now a days, there are several sign boards in every platform and there is a continous announcement of arrival and despatches of trains...... or you can seek public help.. it ssems you are quite educated to put up a question in yahoo but at the same time i feel you lack common sense. If you are in the station and you are not able to find on which platform the train you want to board will come how the hell do you think we sitting here will know. You think we are sitting in the station and working on the computer. Also for your information it is not permenantly decided or fixed on which platform a train has to come. It may change . So, we have to go to the station and make enquiries regarding the platform the train you want to board for that perticular day will come. Hope you do it the next time. Usually announcement is made over PA system to inform the platform number. But I have also seen people waiting on the foot overbridge and dashing towards the platform as soon as they spot a train. Every Station and Platform will be marked with the direction of the trains arriving/stopping in that particular platform. Try this, or there is one simple way, enquire at the enquiry counter ! |
