You have to hire a private taxi from Airport to Vellore and it is difficult to tell the exact and correct amount. The taxi drivers are hard bargainers and will say it will take so much time and they have to return empty with out passengers and will also teach the price of petrol/diesel etc. In my opinion you can pay something around Rs.500/- and this amount I feel is justified.
