Places to stay for 1 month in chennai?

i'm a female student and i'll be going to chennai for music lessons (which i'm still arranging) and i need a safe, affordable place to stay for about a month in august-sept. i'm going by my self.

I got this answer from someone else on yahoo, d websites great 4 young women as there are hostels specifically 4 women only! N there cheap! Checkout bharathrentals.com
There are some safe places near nelson manikam road - food world. Again it depends where you are gonna have your music classes. unfortunately PG acco has not picked up in chennai but there are places near adayar where Paying Guest acco is available. All the best !
Check out at world university centre (called WUS centre) in spurtank road, chetpet/egmore
They do provide acco if you are a student.
